As featured in Signal Magazine, BridgePhase is proud to sponsor a scholarship for undergraduates pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) focused on information technology, cybersecurity, telecommunications and electronics supporting the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities. The AFCEA Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational incentives, opportunities and assistance for people engaged in STEM. BridgePhase provides assistance to second-year college students engaged in STEM disciplines.
The BridgePhase STEM Major scholarship will be awarded beginning in 2016 to one student enrolled in a graduate degree program at an accredited four-year College or University in the United States. The student must be majoring in a STEM field that supports the mission of AFCEA Educational Foundation. BridgePhase is an active participant in the AFCEA Small Business program.
What is the AFCEA Educational Foundation?
The AFCEA Educational Foundation provides educational incentives, opportunities and assistance to people engaged in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
Its programs focus on information technology, cybersecurity, telecommunications and electronics that support the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities.
The Foundation, in conjunction with more than 130 AFCEA chapters worldwide, provides more than $2 million in scholarships a year. Generous donations make these scholarships possible.
