BridgePhase supports Team Fisher House

October 8, 2017

BridgePhase employees volunteered with Team Fisher House to support the runners participating in the Army Ten-Miler. The run, now in its 33rd year, is held annually Washington, D.C. The race proceeds benefit the Army MWR (Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation) programs that support soldiers and families. Team Fisher House is a charity partner in the Army Ten-Miler and provides runners and cheer squads to help fundraise for their mission.

The Fisher House mission is to build and maintain comfortable homes on military and VA medical centers, where families of hospitalized military and veterans can stay – without a fee, to help alleviate the stress of looking for lodging while worrying about a sick or injured loved one. BridgePhase volunteers were on the sidelines encouraging and cheering on runners, and were dressed in Team Fisher House spirit gear, which included a cow-hat, cowbell, and a t-shirt.
