Matt Stratford | Managing Principal
Matt is the founder and Managing Principal of BridgePhase. Matt has over 17 years of industry experience and has personally supported over 30 Federal Government and Commercial clients in his career so far. Matt provides a broad range of support and oversight to BridgePhase’s ERP and software development projects, and is also actively involved in the companies business development and proposal efforts.
Matt is a Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and a certified SAP Technical consultant. He is Co-Author of Content Integration with SAP Portal, published by Rheinwerk Publishing. Matt has a B.S. in Integration Science and Technology from James Madison University. Matt is a member of the American Council of Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and Association of the United States Army (AUSA).
Prior to starting BridgePhase in 2008, Matt held consulting roles for SAP America and Accenture. Matt’s vision for BridgePhase is to create a culture of integrity and fairness in everything the company does, from day to day project execution, to delivering on commitments to customers and partners, and giving back to the community. In his free time, Matt primarily spends time with his wife and 2 sons. He also enjoys cycling, running, playing golf, and skiing.
Dan Belyea | Managing Principal
Dan is currently responsible for the leadership and oversight of BridgePhase’s Agile software development and DevOps efforts within the Federal Government. Dan has over 16 years of experience supporting large scale software development and business systems implementations for Federal and Commercial clients. Dan’s expertise includes open source software development and Oracle business applications such as Oracle CRM, Siebel, and Oracle Business Intelligence. He is also very experienced helping customers adapt to and/or refine their Agile delivery methodologies.
Dan has experience supporting clients within the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Defense Intelligence Agency, as well as the US Postal Service. Dan started his career with Accenture, where he primarily focused on support Oracle business application implementations. Dan holds a B.S. in Integration Science and Technology from James Madison University and has an active Top Secret security clearance.
Dan’s vision for BridgePhase is to create an environment where all highly skilled consultants work closely with business partners and customers in an environment based on respect, integrity, and transparency. Dan is from Mt. Jackson, VA, and where he lives with his wife and 3 children.
Tom Day | Director of Business Development
Tom is Director of Business Development for BridgePhase. Tom’s responsibilities at BridgePhase include development and execution of a successful business development strategy, introducing the company into new Federal clients and technology arenas, and aligning with strategic industry partners by leveraging BridgePhase’s specialized skills and resources. Tom’s goal is to help BridgePhase achieve consistent revenue growth by implementing effective business development practices and leveraging his extensive industry knowledge and relationships.
He brings over thirty years of information technology (IT) executive management and business development experience to the company. Throughout his career he has held a number of progressively more senior level positions delivering IT solutions to Civilian Federal agencies and the Department of Defense (DoD). Tom served 26 years with SAIC including his last three years as Vice President of Business Development. Most recently he served as Vice President of Federal Programs for Optimal Solutions Integration, the largest pure-play SAP consulting firm in the country. Tom lives in Reston, VA and in his spare time enjoys biking, golf, and spending time with his daughters and grand-daughters. Tom holds a B.S. in Technology and Management from the University of Maryland.
Jack Stratford | Strategic Adviser
Jack provides strategic direction and planning to BridgePhase in areas such as contracts, financial management, operational security, and customer relationship management. Additionally, Jack consults with various BridgePhase customers on topics such as Program Management and strategies to efficiently implement new Information Technology solutions in the Federal Government.
Jack has spent his entire career in the Information Technology business. He spent 28 years in the Air Force serving in a wide range of staff, field, and command positions and had extensive experience within the Pentagon and European environments. After retirement from the Air Force he spent 20 years working with large DoD focused IT companies, managing professional services contracts primarily focused on the Defense Information Systems Agency as well as serving as Director of large P&L centers.
In 2013, Colonel Stratford was honored by induction into the Air Force C4 Hall of Fame for his accomplishments during both his military active duty and civilian career as well as his continuing service to the Information Technology community. Jack retains a close affiliation with the Air Force C4 community, having served as an officer in the Air Force C4 Association for the past 16 years. Jack is a certified Program Management Professional (PMP), holds a Bachelor’s degree from Westminster College, Masters of Business degree from the University of Arkansas, and has a Top Secret security clearance.
Rachel Case | Human Resources Manager
Rachel is the Human Resources Manager at BridgePhase, where she is responsible for leading both Human Resources and Recruiting efforts for the company. Prior to working at BridgePhase, she was a Recruiting Associate at a large educational software company, where she managed the summer intern program and the contractor and temporary professional services onboarding process. She also assisted with the onboarding and offboarding of permanent employees, in addition to various other recruiting and HR responsibilities.
Rachel graduated summa cum laude with her B.S. in psychology from James Madison University. Rachel currently lives in Arlington, VA with her soon to be husband. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Patricia Brown | Facility Security Officer
Pattie Brown is the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for BridgePhase. Pattie has 12 years’ experience working for cleared contractors, managing and implementing sound security programs, insuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Department of Defense (DoD) directives. Pattie’s focus includes developing and implementing sound security policies and procedures and monitoring security functions for the company. Prior to joining BridgePhase in 2013, Pattie worked for both large and small cleared contractors in the DC area and managed the Career Center of a Department of Labor (DOL) funded project under the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) Program in Fredericksburg, VA. Pattie attended the Facility Security Officer program at the DSS Academy in Linthicum MD, gaining a Facility Security Officer Program Management certificate and Montgomery Community College for Organizational Behavior and Principles of Management. Pattie is a member of the I-270 Industry Security Awareness Council (ISAC) and served on the steering committee for 2 years. Pattie lives in Clarksburg, MD and enjoys her free time with family and friends, home improvement projects, community activities and traveling.
